Welcome to Kenson Carbon Net Zero Capability Portfolio (KCNZCP)!

KCNZCP is a company-wide initiative to share information and practice to which will develop our capability in achieving Carbon Net Zero targets. There is a global acceptance to achieve Carbon Net Zero by 2030 and we intend to be an active participator in achieving this objective. KCNZCP is also consistent with the strategic direction of many of our clients and we intend to remain aligned with their Carbon Net Zero goals.

As we move forward under this initiative, we will embark on several informational and educational activities, for both our employees and members of the general public, so that they can improve their knowledge and understanding in this area. We will also undertake several relevant projects that will involve our staff and showcase their knowledge.

Throughout this site, we have included summaries and scholarly papers on several topics related to Carbon Net Zero. This is to give you, our visitors, broad overviews of each topic and hopefully encourage you to actively pursue more information on all things Carbon Net Zero.

Majors Step-Up Low Carbon Initiative

The Oil and Gas Carbon Initiative (OGCI), the CEO-led enterprise formed to drive the industry response to climate change, has launched a new effort to unlock large-scale investment in carbon capture, use, and storage (CCUS) as a crucial tool to help achieve net zero emissions. The CCUS initiative is designed to help decarbonize multiple industrial hubs around the world.

Moringa oleifera is known as “horseradish tree” or “drumstick tree”, native to India, is one of the best useful tree and an enormous amount of benefits in the world. Numerous Research reports have appeared in different national and international scientific journals by studying its nutritional and medicinal properties of Moringa over the past decades. Different reports show that due to its multipurpose uses Moringa tree has recently grown attention in Ethiopia. Moringa oleifera is a tree that is sometimes called a “Miracle Tree” because of all its parts are used for nutritional, pharmacological properties.

BP Global Oil Peak Passed

U.S Exits Paris Agreement

At a rose garden ceremony on June 1, 2017, U.S. President Donald Trump declared his intention to pull the United States out of the Paris Climate Agreement. Trump reasoned that adhering to the goals of the accord, which was designed to control and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, would have negative effects on job growth, hinder manufacturing, and bring about dramatic declines in the coal mining, natural gas, steel, and cement industries.

The courts ruling that the companies must reduce their carbon emissions is in alignment with the Paris accord that requires a 45 percent reduction in emissions by 2030 to keep the average global temperature increase below the 1.5 deg C.
